Common questions
There are two ways. Ready-made stories: pick a story from our shelves, add your child's name and photos, and we draw the book. Create your own: answer a few quick questions (theme, lesson, hobbies, tone) and we write a brand-new story for your child. Either way, you see every page and approve it before we print and send it.
A clear, well-lit photo of each person's face works best, looking roughly at the camera, with no sunglasses or heavy filters and one person per photo. A full-body picture also works. For a pet book, add one clear photo of your pet. The better the photo, the better the cartoon.
From newborns up to about 12. Our baby books are made for 0 to 3, and our picture-book stories for older children. When you create your own story, you set the age so the words and feelings match that age. Many grown-ups tell us the books make lovely gifts beyond that range too.
Books come in 6 languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
Your child is the star. Depending on the story, up to 2 grown-ups (a parent, grandparent, auntie, anyone) and up to 2 brothers or sisters can join them, all drawn from your photos. Our pet books put your pet in the story too.
Not at the moment. You guide the direction by choosing the theme, lesson, age, hobby, situation, and tone in the wizard.
Yes. You see and approve every page, and we don't print the book until you are 100% happy with it. It's an easy process.
Yes. Child safety is our top priority. We use content filters and moderation across both the story and illustrations to keep everything age-appropriate. If anything ever feels off, email us at hello@dreamscometrue.ai and we'll fix it.
No. It is illegal to use branded characters (Disney, Marvel, Pokémon, etc.).
You're free to read, gift, share photos of, and download the book you bought — including on social media. Commercial use (reselling the story or illustrations) stays with us. Full details in our Terms.
We retain uploaded photos for 60 days after order completion to allow customers to make edits, request support, or reorder without re-uploading images. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

The Digital flip book (read online, keep and share) is €19.99. Softcover book + Digital flip book is €35.99 and Hardcover book + Digital flip book is €45.99. Add the Audiobook for €55.00 (Hardcover book + Digital flip book + Audiobook), a Song for €58.99 (Hardcover book + Digital flip book + Audiobook + Song), or an Animated film for €159.00 (Hardcover book + Digital flip book + Audiobook + Song + Animated film). 3- and 5-book bundles are cheaper per book.
Every format includes the Digital flip book, to read on any phone, tablet or computer. Every children's book also comes with a free colouring book: the whole story as colouring pages to print at home.
You can regenerate any page on the proof screen right up until you approve the book for print. Once approved, the order goes to our printer and can no longer be changed for that copy. If something arrives damaged or misprinted, email hello@dreamscometrue.ai within 14 days and we'll send a free replacement.
Delivery typically takes 5 to 10 days from the time you approve the order, depending on your location.
